1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment with The Grooming Pawffice (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
We provide professional grooming services for dogs and other pets as agreed during booking. Grooming services may include bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, haircuts, de-shedding, and other requested services.
We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a safety risk or is suffering from a condition requiring veterinary treatment.
3. Appointments
Appointments are required.
Please arrive on time.
Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may require rescheduling or a shortened appointment.
4. Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Clients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments may be required to pay a deposit before future bookings.
5. Payment
Payment is due when services are completed.
We accept:

- Credit/Debit Cards

Prices may vary depending on:
- Coat condition
- Matting
- Breed
- Size
- Temperament
- Time required
6. Matting Policy
Severely matted coats can cause pain and health concerns.
If a shave-down is the safest or most humane option, you authorize us to perform the necessary grooming.
The Grooming Pawffice is not responsible for:
- Skin irritation
- Redness
- Nicks
- Existing skin conditions revealed after mat removal
Additional dematting fees may apply.
7. Aggressive or Difficult Pets
Owners must disclose any history of aggression or biting.
If a pet becomes aggressive or cannot be safely groomed, we may stop the grooming session.
The owner remains responsible for payment for work already completed.
8. Health & Vaccinations
Owners confirm that:
- Their pet is in good health.
- Vaccinations are current as recommended by their veterinarian.
- Any medical conditions or allergies have been disclosed before grooming.
We reserve the right to refuse pets showing signs of contagious illness.
9. Fleas & Ticks
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, an appropriate flea treatment may be required at the owner’s expense to protect other pets and maintain salon hygiene.
10. Senior Pets
Extra care is taken with elderly pets.
However, grooming may involve additional risks due to age or underlying medical conditions.
The owner accepts these risks.
11. Emergencies
If a medical emergency occurs during grooming, we may seek veterinary treatment if immediate care is necessary.
The owner agrees to be responsible for all veterinary expenses.
12. Photos
We may photograph pets before or after grooming for:
- Social media
- Marketing
- Website
- Portfolio
Clients may opt out by notifying us in writing.
13. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken, grooming involves inherent risks.
The Grooming Pawffice shall not be liable for injuries or medical conditions arising from:
- Pre-existing health conditions
- Hidden skin conditions
- Mat removal
- Natural grooming risks
- Undisclosed behavioral issues
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.
14. Website Use
If you use our website, you agree not to misuse, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to any part of it.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
